A group of young space colonists come face to face with the most terrifying life form in the universe while cleaning up the depths of an abandoned space station. See how the Alien films ranked according to IMDb user ratings. Director Fede Alvarez recruited the special effects crew from Alien 2 (1986) to work on these creatures. Physical sets, practical creatures, and miniatures were used wherever possible to help ground the later VFX work. When Rain turns off the ship’s gravity and shoots all the aliens, all their blood floats in the air in long, blur-like patterns.

. Zero gravity in real life causes liquids to form into spherical shapes, rather than being spread out into long, flat pieces like in the movie. Andy: The solution for a claustrophobic astronaut is to give him more space. The 20th century studio fanfare freezes and turns ominous, like in Alien 3 (1992), leading up to the opening scene of the film. The logo itself suffers a static electricity blast and turns green.

Death of the Theaters – The Real BBC @MauLer @HeelvsBabyface (2024). I saw it last night and was quite disappointed. There was so much hype for this. It really is just another mediocre Alien movie that we really didn’t need. Predictable and shallow plot and characters.
This is the same story for Terminator
Some bits made me laugh out loud and not in a good way. It’s literally a facsimile of the first 2 films in look, feel and tone. A copy. Yes, there are some new moments that were interesting, but those moments don’t make the film. The ending was also completely left out, which we already saw in Alien Resurrection.
We don’t need more movies
Everything that needs to be said has already been said in the first 2 movies. Whether it’s exploring the stars, escaping dystopias, or making the world a better place, these women are what science fiction is all about.
