Cathy Bates was a great choice for the lead role, cunning, intelligent, this will be a great season with innovative plot lines and plot twists. Also the cast is great (love the old references to the original TV show with Andy Griffith).
You won’t be disappointed
It has a great cast, with several characters thinking about the plot. Don’t miss this new show, if it’s on when you’re watching any other show, be it sports or anything else, record the show and extend the time.

Evan Peters has seriously outdone his job here
His acting was top notch and his portrayal of Dahmer, from his clothing to expressions, everything was perfect, perfect everything, down to the last minute details. And apart from him, the performances of the other cast members (His father, his mother, grandma, Glenda Cleveland and the victims) were excellent too.Also, the cinematography and music were impressive. The writing and screenplay were decent too, especially the fact that they didn't take much creative liberties.
The only thing i found slightly disappointing was the length
The pace was a bit slow, especially in the last few episodes, and I feel the series could have easily been wrapped up in 8 episodes, instead of 10.But overall, it's a must watch. Especially for those who are interested in the crime thriller genre. It's a realistic take on one of the most notorious serial killers in our history, where they haven't romanticized him and in fact, called out the ones who tend to do so.
And that's the thing which makes it a bit unique and interesting to watch

Death of the Theaters – The Real BBC @MauLer @HeelvsBabyface (2024). I saw it last night and was quite disappointed. There was so much hype for this. It really is just another mediocre Alien movie that we really didn’t need. Predictable and shallow plot and characters.
This is the same story for Terminator
Some bits made me laugh out loud and not in a good way. It’s literally a facsimile of the first 2 films in look, feel and tone. A copy. Yes, there are some new moments that were interesting, but those moments don’t make the film. The ending was also completely left out, which we already saw in Alien Resurrection.
We don’t need more movies
Everything that needs to be said has already been said in the first 2 movies. Whether it’s exploring the stars, escaping dystopias, or making the world a better place, these women are what science fiction is all about.

In 1979, a group of young filmmakers wanted to make a film for adults on a rural farm in Texas. But when their reclusive, elderly hosts catch them in the act, the crew must fight for their lives. A day after ‘X’ (2022) premiered at South by Southwest, writer-director Ti West announced that he was at his hotel in New Zealand during a mandatory two-week COVID-19 quarantine before production began on that film, was wrote a prequel called The Pearl (2022). A24 saw the script and gave the green light to the film even before the production of ‘X’ was completed. He asked star Mia Goth if she wanted to stay in New Zealand and film The Pearl, and she readily accepted the offer.

The cinematography is fantastic and fits the atmosphere and tone the film is going for perfectly
X is an interesting slow motion film, but it doesn’t hold up to countless other slasher films. It’s a good movie and another tribute to the cult genre that made horror movies so popular. Admittedly, I like to watch slasher movies every now and then – I really like movies like A Nightmare on Elm Street and My Bloody Valentine, but where X goes wrong compared to the others is in using a fairly familiar formula without a really unique purpose. Throughout the film, the characters often talk about the X-factor, something that makes Mia Goth’s character special and star-worthy – but contrary to what has been said, this film just doesn’t have it. The acting is really good, I love the underrated Mia Goth as always – and Brittany Snow, Martin Henderson and even Kid Cudi did a pretty impressive job too.
It’s not the most memorable, but I hold no disdain for it
The music is fun and exciting and the tempo can be a bit slow at times, but it provides an interesting point of view. Its main problem lies solely in its script, which is largely about producing a dirty film, but borrows too many elements and formulaic trends from other horror films such as Evil Dead, Friday the 13th, The Visit and, most obviously , Texas Chainsaw Massacre to really stand out and become your own thing. All in all not a bad movie, I wouldn’t watch it again but I sure didn’t mind watching it. It could easily have been more, especially given the talent, but ironically they settled for less. My rating: 5.8/10.

I just watched the new version of Speak No Evil and in typical fashion the American version only had to change the ending which made the original absolutely incredible to watch as a horror film.
It didn’t make you as angry as the first
I didn’t hate the 2024 version, but it didn’t have nearly the thrill of the first. It didn’t make you want to strangle the entire cast like the first. And it didn’t make you feel any feelings for the characters like the first. As much as you can hate the characters’ stupid naivety or pure evil, you still felt something for all of them in the first.
The first 10/10 the second 6/10
And that’s being generous because it wasn’t as terrible as it could have been, but really watch the original if you really want a good movie experience that leaves you feeling relaxed instead of, well, that happened..
